Jay A. Fernandez, Daniel Miller Sony Pictures Classics has nailed down a deal to take domestic rights to "The Guard," a dark comedy that screened opening night at the 2011 Sundance fest. The world cinema dramatic competition film played to positive response during its world premiere screening at the Egyptian Theatre Thursday.
